1. Take notes and pay attention to using a "theme" or catchy phrase to "hook" the jury
2. Insert this "hook" in your opening statement if you haven't already
3. Be sure to add as much EVIDENCE from the novel as possible and state where it was found

5. Practice opening, question & closing with your team to see
6. Type your opening, questions and closing arguments for your paper in MLA submit in Engrade as your draft

- Preponderance of Evidence - Based on the more convincing evidence and its probable truth or accuracy, and not on the amount...
- Reasonable Doubt - The level of certainty a juror must have to find a defendant guilty of a crime.
- Burden of Proof - Deals with which side must prove what points.
